The Bible as Literature
This volume of the Bible was arranged by Ernest Sutherland Bates and published in 1936. Designed to be read as literature, it contains the Old and New Testaments of the King James version. The spine and corners are black leather, and the boards are blue cloth. The spine features raised bands and gold gilt font and ornamentation. The top most page edge is gold gilt.
